After almost a month break, Formula 1 returns to our screens in Austin, Texas. The 56-lap circuit was first introduced in 2012, becoming one of the biggest races on the calendar. The track has drawn lots of inspiration from other ionic F1 tracks such as Silverstone Maggotts and Becketts high-speed corners, while also showcasing some of Texas’s on specialists. The usual drama filled uphill run into a steep and tight first corner and the beautiful run up straight towards it.

Although, this year's Texas Grand Prix will feel a little different with the departure of fan favourite Daniel Ricciardo. After a mixed bag of performances over the first half of the season and a secret contract clause in replacement Liam Lawson's contract. According to insiders, it was revealed shortly after that Lawson’s contract had guaranteed the driver a seat on the grid for the 2025 seasons by September. The presence of the Australian Riccardo will be missed in the Texas padlock, from his horseback arrival to his love of Texan culture. Expectations are high for Lawson’s promotion back to the RB seat after replacing an injured Daniel Riccario back in 2023. Will Lawson be able to match RB teammate Yuki Tsunda? Or will he showcase performances that could lead to him at the Red Bull team next season?

This weekend will also see Red Bull hopefully finding solutions for their struggling car. With Red Bull bringing their last big upgrades of the year, believed to be to help fix the cars ongoing balance problems with hopes to ignite fire in the RB20 for championship fights in both constructors and driver championships. Can Red Bull fix their car and get back on pace with the McLarens? Or will they continue to fall behind?
